From Tila Tequila's Original Chapter
If you want to join the EGP, or already a member explain the cause you would like to support and why you should be accepted (New Members).
In this day and age society as a whole, have become aware of more in our first 12 years of life, than previous generations in there entirety. We have also become one of the laziest generations, minus the few that strive to better themselves as well as their surroundings. My goal is enlighten, inspire and focus as many people as possible. By reminding people of the ancient philosophies created by the Samurai, I hope to invigorate people to stand in a united front, not against adversaries, but instead for the cultivation of each other. I see growth and expansion for the souls and minds of my brothers and sisters as the stepping stones to a better world. A world in which we are living comfortably with one another and the planet, causing as little to no harm to ourselves and the environment.

The 3 things I believe everyone needs to know in order for us to get to such a place....

1- At least one form of self defense (i.e. kung-fu, boxing, karate), the more I study martial arts, less I look to fight (and I have always been a brawler). The self confidence it instills, knowing that you can defend yourself leads you to a place of serenity that allows you to take the road less traveled in an altercation and just walk away, where by promoting peace.

2- An open mind. Though others may perceive things differently than "you" or "me", it does not make their views any less significant, nor yours more significant...even what I am stating here, some will view as pure drivel. They may still in fact be correct and I may be wrong, so I listen with an open mind, we never stop learning. Through that we are able to refine our own ideals.

3- The knowledge, and skill (which is learned) to not take the things that people may do some times personally. From friends and or strangers, try and calmly look upon the events that just occured objectively, though the other person may have been in the wrong, think about "the why?". What happened in this persons day that caused them to behave in such a manner, most of the time you'll realize that they were just having a bad day, and by chance took it out on you, we've all done it...and we've all felt guilty when we realized how we were so blatantly disrespectful to an innocent party. By not taking the actions or words personally they fall right off your shoulders causing no effect to your mood, there by leaving your day unaffected.

Hopefully those of you out there that agree with this will help others, in your own way.
Are you willing to go above and beyond to fight for this cause?
I'm a natural born fighter. I do what ever I have to in order to achieve my goals. Even if that means losing the fight.
What have you done so far to fight for this cause?
I host "philosphy based" group discussions. Where by allowing contradictory views to be brought up and discussed in a non-confrontational manner.
Do you speak up for what you believe in or do you tend to follow. (There is not a wrong answer to this question)
I speak my mind,! I am not known for biting my tongue.

An old poem I wrote, and why I hate being sick

Well, first and foremost....blech! Turns out it was a mild case of food poisoning, the sickness I mentioned yesterday. I'd called NHS Direct, the basic countrywide after-hours doctor service, on Saturday after coming down with some pretty bad sickness, among other things, and they said it sounded like food poisoning, got an appointment this morning and that was confirmed by the doc. Note to self, when the chicken in the teryaki noodles doesn't 'taste right'...trust your gut (no pun intended). So… Continue
